Contemporary Home Theater Seating
Distinguishing from what is contemporary and what is not can be a bit blurry. Because who are we to say anyway? It is all a matter of perception. How a room feels; or more precisely, how a home theater feels.
However, many would say though that those recliners are what make a contemporary home theater seating fanatic’s dream.
A typical modern recliner is equipped with just about everything you need and can wish for in that zen moment of relaxing in front of the television. They recline, and that’s always tops. And these recliners often have cup holders and a snack bin where you can store all your goodies. Some have cool audio accessories, like built-in speakers. The more contemporary of the lot have bass shakers installed. Bass shakers make you hear and feel the bass. (Groovy!) And then there are some that come with built-in massagers. Throw in a built-in spa and I would go contemporary all the way.
And then, there are the more traditional home theater seating. These would most probably replicate our idea of a movie theater. This might just mean non-reclining seats with a flip up chair and a cup holder (and fortunately, minus the couple necking in front of you).
But then again, the concept of having a home theater is a modern concept. And those traditional home theater seating that looks just like the movie house can now come with perks, like recliners and snack bins -- which then leads up back to our earlier contemplation: that all this is divided by a blurry line.
